Who we are

Meridian Homecare ("we", "us") is a home care service preparing to open. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or join our launch list, we collect what you choose to tell us. That can include:

• your name, email address, phone number and postcode or area;
• who the care is for, the situation, the support you're looking for and how it may be funded;
• anything you add in the notes, which may include health information about you or the person you're enquiring for;
• how and when you'd like us to contact you, and how you heard about us.

Please only share information about another person if they know you're enquiring for them, or if you're acting in their best interests.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and talk through the support you need.
• To arrange a free assessment once we open, if you'd like one.
• To email you launch news, but only if you ticked the box to ask for it.
• If you register interest as a carer, to contact you about roles when recruitment opens.

We rely on your consent to use your details, including any health information you share, to respond to your enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing. They are stored securely by the service providers that run our website, enquiry system and email delivery, who act only on our instructions and keep the data in the UK or EU, or under equivalent safeguards. If you become a client, we may share relevant information with health and social care professionals involved in your care, with your agreement.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry doesn't lead to care, we delete it within 12 months. Launch list details are kept until we launch, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@meridianhomecare.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
